Under the guiding principle "Learning from the best - strategy for tomorrow's generation", the Bayreuth Economics Congress 2018 celebrated its 10th anniversary. Europe's largest economics congress organised by students took place on 17 and 18 May 2018 on the campus of the University of Bayreuth.
Over two days of events, participants discussed the economic challenges of the present with around 30 renowned speakers from business, politics and academia in keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, specialist lectures and expert interviews.
In addition to well-known names from politics and business such as Raimund Becker, Member of the Board of the Federal Employment Agency, and Dr. Johannes-Jörg Riegler, Chairman of the Board of BayernLB, this year's speakers also included Dominik M. Aumer, Founder and Managing Partner of Entourage. Under the title "Generation Y - why the Millennials will fail!", the graduate in business administration gave a 45-minute lecture in the Audimax of the University of Bayreuth on 18 May from 11 am.
