Prof. Dr. Johannes Schmidt becomes Entourage Advisory Board in the area of Health Care.
Management and personnel consultancy Entourage is delighted to welcome Prof. Dr. Johannes Schmidt as its first advisory board member from the healthcare sector.
The doctor of medicine looks back on three decades as a surgeon. After holding positions as a junior doctor and senior consultant, he qualified as a university lecturer and received his teaching license for the subject of "Surgery" with the appointment as a private lecturer. Prof. Dr. Schmidt also received an honorary professorship from the University of Bucharest. Prof. Dr. Schmidt has also been active for many years in various supervisory and management board positions and as an auditor.

Johannes Schmidt studied human medicine at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. During his training as a surgeon, he completed his doctorate at the Institute of Physiology and Cardiology. He later completed a Master of Health Business Administration at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
After holding positions as assistant doctor and senior consultant, he qualified as a university lecturer and was awarded a teaching license for the subject "Surgery" with the appointment as a private lecturer. After being elected Chief Physician at the Lutherhaus Protestant Hospital in Essen (later Krupp Hospital Essen-Steele), he was awarded the APL professorship for "Surgery". Prof. Dr. Schmidt was appointed Medical Director at the Lutherhaus Protestant Hospital in Essen and at the Academic Teaching Hospital of the Technical University of Munich in Landshut. Prof. Dr. Schmidt also received an honorary professorship from the University of Bucharest. Prof. Dr. Schmidt has also been active for many years in various supervisory and management board positions and as an auditor.
