Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and installation on IOMS products (incl. pumps, cooler, auto-sampler)
Provide on-site training relative to system service, maintenance, and basic operation.
Keep track and maintain local spare part’s inventory.
Diagnose problems over the phone and/or using remote software. Follow up to ensure problems were resolved to the customer’s happiness.
Actively monitor the status of contract, warranty and time and material install customers. Track and schedule on-site PM visit(s).
Ensure that all documentation related to in-house and on-site support activity is completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis. This includes maintenance of electronic files, Field Service Reports, Service Work Orders and Quotes.
Technology diploma in Mechatronics, Electro-mechanical engineering, Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
Experience in technical services on electronic scientific instruments desired.
Multi-disciplinary technical skills / excellent with software, electrical, and mechanical systems.
System-level diagnostic skills using inquiries, observations, system schematics & documentation, software tools, and communications / electrical diagnostic aids (break-out box, meters etc.).
Ability to think critically, learn new sophisticated technologies, cultivate collaboration, clearly document requirements, and deliver results.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills; must have a professional working proficiency in English and German.
Organization, planning and time management skills.
Driving licence required.
Ability to travel up to 75% (Germany)
