Ihre Aufgaben.

  • The Manager Demand and Inventory Planning EMEA, is responsible for developing and executing Demand Plan and Inventory Plans that will enable Laboratory Equipment EMEA to meet sales and service objectives through collaboration with other members of supply chain, sales, marketing, and customer support teams
  • What you will do
    You will develop, modify and execute company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. As well as establishing operational objectives and work plans, and delegate assignments to subordinates

  • Demand Planning – Own SIOP demand review process for EMEA. Align the unconstrained demand forecast with the commercial and product management teams and assure commercial sign-off on the demand plan. Align the demand plan with the site supply planning team to assure the right net demand to be loaded to the site. Communicate constraints and allocations to the product, customer, and sales teams. Support allocation processes together with other regions and the site planning team. Bridge regional consensus plan to regional financial plan

  • Inventory Planning – Own Distribution Resource Planning for EMEA by managing the EMEA distribution hub. Manage the manual allocation process for day-to-day execution. Oversee master data maintenance (product hierarchies, Order Quantities, Safety Stock settings, lead times). Finished Goods Inventory Health (E&O, MOQs, SS). Ensure inventory control processes are enforced. Establish inventory strategy around MTO, MTS, MRF in alignment with business needs. Support planned ramp up and ramp down scenarios for new product introductions and product discontinuations​. Communicate between regional hubs on status of internal shipments

  • Also you are the key contact for the regional commercial lead and communicate to customer care on lead times and order status

Ihr Anforderungsprofil.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field is required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years related experience, with 3 plus years of people management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ERP/MRP Planning systems, including all relevant planning parameters such as inventory controls, replenishment, warehouse management and procurement functionality in ERP and best-of-breed software solutions is strongly preferred, with specific emphasis on SAP ECC, EWM and APO
  • Solid understanding of concepts of inventory flow throughout the supply chain, particularly inventory management and distribution planning.
  • Good problem solving and reasoning skills to effectively deal with problems varying in complexity relative to job level.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate critical information.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook). Ability to develop and provide reports to satisfy ongoing inquires on inventory, capacity and product availability.
