Your tasks.

  • Coordinate and carry out the development of highly accurate optical measuring instruments for the qualification of lithography optics in cooperation with internal and external project partners.

  • Design and coordinate measurement sequences and calibration procedures for complex measurement systems

  • Commission and qualify complex measuring machines for the optical qualification of high-performance optics

  • Investigate the performance of the supervised measurement techniques experimentally and theoretically, develop improvement measures and coordinate their implementation.

  • Take on the management of projects in this area of responsibility
 

Your requirement profile.

  • A very good diploma or master's degree in physics or engineering (university), preferably with a doctorate.

  • First professional experience in an industrial or academic environment

  • Sound knowledge of technical optics and optical metrology, especially interferometry

  • Experience in the specification, selection, commissioning and qualification of optical components and modules

  • Programming skills, preferably in MATLAB

  • a high degree of team spirit, dexterous, confident and friendly manner

  • High level of self-motivation, commitment and assertiveness

  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
